Love trading card games? Want to be surrounded by Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more while getting paid? Mana Market is looking for a sharp-eyed casual to join our warehouse crew.
About Us
Mana Market is the Gold Coast's premier tabletop gaming destination. From our Southport store we've built a thriving home for the trading card community, stocking singles and sealed product across all the major games, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood, Riftbound and more, alongside sports cards, board games, miniatures, and accessories.
We're a lot more than a retail counter. We run three dedicated services that set us apart: a live buylist that lets people sell their singles and sealed product for cash or store credit, an eBay consignment service where we handle the listings, sales, and shipping on our customers' behalf, and PSA grading as a registered dealer. We also bring the community together in-store with regular tournaments, pre-releases, and events, and we're a familiar face at major card shows around the country.
We're a passionate, fast-growing team that takes the hobby seriously, and our customers' collections even more so. As we continue to expand, we're looking for the right people to grow with us.
About the Role
Weekends are our biggest sales days, which means Mondays and Tuesdays are our biggest shipping days. You will help our warehouse crew get customer orders picked, packed, and out the door, including:
- Picking card singles and sealed product against order lists
- Double-checking the details: right card, right set, right edition, right condition
- Packing orders securely so they arrive in the same condition they left
- Printing labels and preparing mail for dispatch
- Putting away stock and keeping the packing stations tidy
About you
- You have serious attention to detail. In this job, the difference between two nearly identical cards can be hundreds of dollars
- You are reliable and can commit to regular Monday and Tuesday shifts
- You work efficiently without cutting corners
- You are comfortable using a computer for order screens and label printing
- You can handle a physical role: standing, walking, and lifting up to 10kg
TCG knowledge is a big plus but not essential. If you can tell a holo from a reverse holo, or you know your way around card conditions, tell us in your application. Prior warehouse or ecommerce experience is also great but not required. We will train the right person.
The details
- Regular shifts every Monday and Tuesday at our warehouse
- Extra shifts potentially available during set releases and other peak periods
- A workplace where talking about card games is literally part of the job
How to apply
Email your resume and a short cover note to jobs@manamarket.com.au telling us why this role suits you. If you have TCG experience, whether as a player, collector, or seller, make sure to mention it.
Applications close July 31st. We will be reviewing applications as they come in, so do not wait until the deadline.
