FAQs
How do you take payment?
We generally collect payment upon pickup of your graded cards, or we can send an invoice prior to shipping them back to you.
Due to PSA’s pricing structure, including potential upcharges based on final card values, we prefer to handle all fees in one transaction at the time of delivery.
However, if a submission contains cards that are low in value and may not justify the grading cost, we may require payment upfront.
This is to ensure we're not left holding cards that a customer later decides not to pay for after grading.
How much does PSA grading cost?
Grading fees vary depending on the declared value of the card and the turnaround time selected. We offer a range of PSA submission tiers to suit different budgets and needs.
Please refer to our pricing guide in-store or visit our website for the most up-to-date rates. Our staff can also help recommend the best option based on your cards.
When do you ship submissions to PSA?
We consolidate and send all PSA submissions every Tuesday.
Please ensure your cards are submitted and ready no later than Monday each week.
Is my card guaranteed to get a high grade?
Grading is subjective and based on PSA’s strict quality standards. We cannot guarantee any specific grade for your card. However, we do inspect submissions for any visible issues and are happy to provide general guidance if requested prior to submission.
What happens if my card is deemed not authentic or altered?
If PSA determines that your card is not genuine or has been altered, it will not receive a numerical grade.
PSA will return it with an appropriate label (such as “N6 – Evidence of Trimming” or “Not Genuine”).
You will still be responsible for the grading fees, as authentication is part of the service.
Is my submission insured?
Yes, all PSA submissions are insured during transport to and from PSA, and while stored in our secure safe on-site. If you are mailing your submission to us, we recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method for your own protection.
PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) is the foremost authentication and grading authority for trading cards and memorabilia globally with over 65 million items certified since its establishment in 1991.
PSA authentication confirms the originality and legitimacy of a trading card, while grading evaluates the condition of the card using PSA’s industry-standard 10-point grading scale.
Only cards that are verified as authentic can proceed to grading. Whether it's vintage, modern, or trading card game (TCG) cards, PSA sets the benchmark for quality and credibility in the hobby.
